Hotel - Acronimi
In questa lezione imparerai il significato di alcune abbreviazioni usate in ambito alberghiero.
SC = Self-Catering (you can cook your own meals)
FB = Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
HB = Half Board (breakfast and dinner included)
BB = Bed and Breakfast
RR = room rate (the price of the room)
AI = all inclusive (all services included in the price)
PP = per person
PB = Private Bathroom
PS = Private Shower
BDRM = Bedroom
SGL = Single
TW = Twin (two separate beds)
DBL = Double Room
TPL = Triple Room
QUAD = bedroom for 4

Hotel - Vocabolario

Book a room: make a reservation at a hotel (on the phone, by fax, on the Internet)
Check into a hotel: arrive at a hotel and get a room
Check out: leave the hotel after paying the bill
Single room: a room with one bed
Double room: a room for a couple
Twin room: a room with two beds
En suite bedroom: a room with private bathroom
Vacancies: rooms that are not booked
Hotel facilities: the services provided by a hotel (car park, restaurant, swimming pool…)
