Pub - Grammatica

pubblicato da pmanuella in:

Questa lezione ti aiuterà a comprendere la differenza tra like e would like.

CLAMLeggi questo breve dialogo:

Peter: "Do you like Britain?”

Claudia: "I do! And I like going to the pub! It’s the best place to have a drink and relax with your friends.”

Peter: "Would you like to go to the pub tonight?”

Claudia: "I’d love to!"

Prima di leggere la spiegazione, prova a individuare da solo la differenza tra le due domande.

I like going to pubs! Qui Claudia dice che le piace andare nei pub. Sta parlando dei propri gusti.

Would you like to go to the pub tonight? Qui Peter chiede a Claudia se le piacerebbe andare al pub con lui. Le sta rivolgendo un invito.

Quindi ricorda:

Quando vuoi parlare di ciò che ti piace o non ti piace, usa il verbo Like/don’t like + the “ing” form of the verb (the gerund).

Quando rivolgi un invito, usa would like + to + infinito
