Musica - Vocabolario

Leggendo la lezione di oggi imparerai alcuni vocaboli legati al mondo della musica.

Band: a group of musicians playing together, especially music such as rock or pop.

Gig: an informal word for “concert”.

Song: a piece of music, with words that you sing, (or somebody else).

Songwriter: a person who writes songs.

Singer songwriter: a person who writes songs and sings them as well, e.g. Bob Dylan.

Lead singer: the musician who sings the songs in a band.

Bassist: a musician who plays bass guitar, an instrument with four strings which produces a deep sound.

Guitarist: a musician who plays the guitar.

Drummer: a musician who plays drums, an instrument that produces sound when you beat it with sticks or with your hands.

Keyboardist: a musician who plays the keyboards, a kind of electrical piano.
